St. Nessan’s National School is the Catholic school for Raheen Parish. We are a co-educational school with classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.
As a Catholic school the children are taught the Catholic faith and prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. The ethos of the school is Catholic and is cross curricular. It can be seen in the everyday life of the school. However we welcome children of all faiths and none.
Our motto is “Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí” and our aim is to foster the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and cultural development of the pupils.
